Border Rambler Bus - Rural Bus Service in Carlisle & Brampton
The Border Rambler has been running since 2015 and now has two routes.
We have replaced the withdrawn scheduled bus services to and from villages along the A69 and A689.
Hadrians Wall Walkers can use our service each day to and from various points along The Wall:
On Tuesdays and Fridays from Carlisle Airport Business Park, Laversdale, Irthington, Newtown, Hethersgill, Smithfield, Scaleby Castle, Brunstock, Linstock, Rickerby and Carlisle returning.
On Wednesdays and Thursdays from Laversdale, Newtown, Irthington, Brampton, Walton, Lanercost, Banks, Birdoswald, Gilsland, The Dentons, Low Row and Brampton returning.
